Umpiring Pathway
CA Community Officiating Accreditation
NSWCUSA Level Two Accreditation
An entry point for most umpires is to begin officiating in local cricket competitions across New South Wales or in the lower grades of NSW Premier Cricket.
CA's Community Officiating is appropriate for those looking to officiate junior cricket, whilst the Level Two NSWCUSA accreditation is a requirement in lower grade NSW Premier Cricket.
Representative Officiating Accreditation
For umpires looking to progress into higher grades of NSW Premier Cricket, or NSW Country Cricket representative programs, the CA Representative Officiating accreditation is a requirement.
Completing this accreditation, and performing to a consistently high standard officiating in Premier Cricket or Country Cricket can lead to selection on the NSW State Panel or the Country Umpire Representative Panel.
High Performance Officiating Accreditation
An invitation-only accreditation for umpires involved in Cricket Australia’s professional competitions, officiating in elite domestic competitions and selected international women’s matches.
ICC International Officiating Accreditation
An invitation-only accreditation for umpires involved in ICC international fixtures, officiating at the highest levels of cricket, receiving appointments to major global tournaments and bilateral series.
