Umpire training courses are being confirmed all across the state as NSWCUSA’s winter training program with 12 Laws of Cricket courses scheduled across regional New South Wales and metropolitan Sydney.

Weekend courses are run over two days with a full day on Saturday and half-day on Sunday, with an optional assessment in the afternoon to achieve an NSWCUSA Level Two accreditation.

Each course will cover all 42 Laws in detail and leave you well-placed to begin umpiring anywhere or simply take away a greater knowledge of the game, whatever your involvement.

Qualified trainers will provide an in-depth education with high-quality examples of the Laws in action and are well-equipped to answer any and all burning questions you may have.

For the first-time, we will be trialling a new one-day Laws course in Wollongong on 27 July where the content will be presented in a condensed format and the assessment to be offered at a later date.

Starting in July and early August, a five-night course will be held in Newcastle on Mondays and Thursday nights.

All NSWCUSA members are entitled to attend any education sessions held across the state free of charge, included in their membership of the Association.
