Tucker bags top spot as history reached in Lahore
The call of “Play” on Day One of this week's First Test Match between Pakistan and South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore saw Association Principal Member Rod Tucker venture into unchartered territory for an Australian Test umpire. First Class Debut for Roberto
In a month of milestones, Roberto Howard became NSWCUSA First-Class Umpire number 88 when he made his debut in the Sheffield Shield match between Tasmania and Western Australia at Hobart’s Bellerive Oval, which commenced on 15 October. List A and First-Class elevations within four weeks are rare and they reflect Roberto’s steady and impressive progress since he joined the Premier Cricket Panel in 2010. The funeral for former member and wonderful contributor to cricket in the Campbelltown and Camden district, Don Voegt, was conducted yesterday (16 October) following Don's passing on 5 October.
