Ben Treloar - CNSW Representative Umpire of the Year

The CNSW Representative Umpire of the Year is awarded for excellence in performance in Cricket Australia competitions in the current season.

 

The recipient for season 2025-26 is Ben Treloar.

 

Ben had an outstanding season officiating in the Cricket Australia XI v England Lions match in Perth, seven Sheffield Shield matches, two matches in the One-Day Cup, 11 BBL fixtures, the WNCL Final, and the Prime Minister’s XI match against England in Canberra.

 

Across all matches he had a correct decision making percentage of 98.71

 

In premier cricket, Ben umpired his 200th first grade match in his sixth consecutive Belvidere Cup Final.

 

As the Umpire Educator at CNSW, Ben makes an exemplary contribution to the education and development of umpires state-wide.

 

He is a most deserving winner of the CNSW Representative Umpire of the Year, receiving this award for the first time and being presented with it at yesterday’s CNSW Awards Night at the SCG.
