The Association is delighted to congratulate Ivan Holland and Daksh Trivedi, winners of the Cricket Australia Male Umpire of the Month and Multicultural Umpire of the Month awards, respectively.

Ivan has reached a truly remarkable milestone, officiating his 400th Shires Competition match, becoming only the second SSCUA member in the past 25 years to achieve this feat. An original member of the Association since 2001, Ivan’s loyalty, humility, and unwavering support of his fellow umpires have been hallmarks of his service. His commitment over more than two decades exemplifies the very best of dedication to community cricket.

Daksh’s journey this season has also been one of outstanding progress. Following a sustained period of deliberate self-improvement, highlighted by his appointment to the 1st Grade panel in NSW Women’s Premier Cricket, Daksh also earned his 1st Grade debut in NSW Men’s Premier Cricket. His performances have been of the highest standard, reflected in an exceptional average rating of over 4.85 out of 5 from 2nd Grade captains. A well-deserved reward for his hard work and commitment to continual development.

Full award details from Cricket Australia – where Cricket Australia publishes their Community Umpires of the Month each season.

Congratulations again to Ivan and Daksh!
